Making everyday challenges easier to solve
Finding the right help should not mean spending days asking around. 242Konnect connects individuals and businesses with service providers for everyday needs and professional projects.
Giving local talent a place to be seen
Skilled people do not always have the visibility or professional network to reach new customers, especially those working independently or in the informal economy. 242Konnect gives providers a place to present their skills and services so customers can discover what they offer.
Early activity in two local markets
We have registered 200+ providers across Utah and the Republic of Congo and coordinated 20 early service transactions totaling $27,000 during August–September 2026. This represents service volume, not platform revenue.

The opportunity
What's our story
1
The skills exist. Finding the right help is harder than it should be.
When a car breaks down, an appliance stops working or a business needs professional help, finding the right person can mean several calls, unanswered messages and uncertain availability. Customers need someone who fits their needs, budget and schedule.
Meanwhile, skilled professionals can struggle to reach customers beyond their personal networks. Through our field research in Utah and the Republic of Congo, we explored both sides of this challenge. That work shaped 242Konnect: helping customers find local expertise and helping professionals make their skills visible.

2
Our Solution
242Konnect brings everyday services and professional expertise into one digital marketplace. Individuals and businesses can discover providers, submit requests, discuss their needs and budgets, and arrange services. Providers can showcase their skills and experience, making their work visible beyond their personal networks. This gives customers more options to explore and professionals another way to reach potential clients.
Beyond finding a provider, we are developing booking and management tools to help businesses coordinate providers and service requests across teams and locations. Starting in Utah County, USA, and Pointe-Noire, Republic of Congo, our goal is to make it simpler to find the right help and organize the work that follows.

3
Our Progress
We began with four months of field research in Utah and the Republic of Congo. We have since registered 150+ service providers in Congo and 50+ in Utah, while our website has received 3,000+ visitors.
During August–September 2026, we coordinated 20 early service transactions totaling $27,000 in service volume: $22,000 in Utah and $5,000 in Congo. These requests were coordinated through direct contact and phone calls while we tested and improved the platform. This is service volume, not company revenue; we have not yet charged platform commissions.

4
The Opportunity
242Konnect starts in Utah County, USA, and Pointe-Noire, Republic of Congo, serving households that need local help, professionals seeking new customers, and businesses with recurring service needs.
Our opportunity is to turn occasional service requests into lasting customer-provider relationships. We will first focus on reliable service delivery and repeat bookings in these two markets, then expand into additional cities as demand and sustainable operating costs support growth.

5
How We’re Different
242Konnect combines a marketplace covering multiple service categories with local provider recruitment in Utah County and Pointe-Noire. We work with independent professionals and service businesses, including providers whose skills and experience are not easily visible online.
Our field research and early service coordination help us understand both customer needs and provider challenges. As we improve the platform, we plan to add identity, credential and reference checks, alongside provider interviews that showcase their work and help customers make informed choices

6
What Comes Next
Our next step is to complete product testing, improve the booking experience and introduce commissions on completed services. We will focus on reliable delivery and repeat use in Utah County and Pointe-Noire before expanding further. Follow 242Konnect for updates on our product, local provider network and launch progress.
